August 2017 Bonus Newsletter Puzzle

Postby TinyJWRinLC » Sat Aug 12, 2017 2:42 am

Since Tom submitted so many fine articles for this newsletter, I thought I'd create a special award. I know that he (and many other club members) like puzzles, here is one based on the August 2017 monthly newsletter.

After reading the newsletter, simply figure out what the words mean in this word cloud. A couple of clues for you.
1. Tom
2. 500
3. at least 5

Hope you all enjoy it.

Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

This is at least partly a simple guess from your clues, rather than actually working it out, but...

1. Tom: wrote at least 5 of the articles in the August newsletter (can I take a break now?)
2. 500: Here is the guess part - 500 unique words used in those 5 articles???
3. at least 5: see clue #1.

BTW, Whatever the meaning, I am impressed with your word cloud itself. I'll be even more impressed if you made this without the aid of a tool to do it automatically.

So if I'm right, what do I win? A free trip to Beaumont to harass their next guess speaker?
